What is Nunnas?
Nunnas is a talent accelerator that helps nurses from Mexico work in U.S. hospitals. We recruit, prepare, and place them directly with American hospitals.
How does the process work from start to finish?
Here's the big picture:
Step 1 — schedule an informational call to learn about the program, get your questions answered, and enroll.
Step 2 — learn professional and clinical English for working in a U.S. hospital.
Step 3 — earn your U.S. nursing license. This includes credential equivalency, an English certification, and a U.S.-recognized nursing exam (NCLEX).
Step 4 — receive a job offer from a U.S. hospital, directly through Nunnas.
Step 5 — file your work visa to live and work legally in the U.S. (the TN visa for Mexican professionals).
Step 6 — begin your new personal and professional chapter in the United States.

Eligibility
What profile does Nunnas look for?
We look for the following:
• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• At least 1 year of hospital experience. If you're already working at a hospital and haven't hit a full year yet, don't worry: while you're learning English and we work through certification, you'll reach the requirement easily.
• Basic English knowledge.
• Commitment and discipline.
The preparation and migration process is long (between 18 and 36 months) and requires patience, consistency, and perseverance. It isn't for everyone, and that's okay.

It's important to have basic knowledge of the language — we don't start from zero.

TN Visa
What visa do I need and who files it?
For Mexican nursing professionals, there's a work visa designed specifically for this profile (the TN visa), and it's the most accessible route.

Does the visa include my family?
Yes. Once you receive your work visa, your spouse and children under 21 can obtain a companion visa (TD) to legally live with you in the United States.

Getting started
Can I cancel anytime or is there a commitment period?
During the English learning stage, you can leave the program at any time.
Once we begin the certification stage (which includes English certification, credential equivalency, and your U.S. nursing license), we follow the exit terms established in your contract.

What does the informational call include, and what am I committing to by booking it?
It's an orientation session: we walk you through the process step by step and answer all your questions. You can invite your parents, your partner, or anyone you'd like to include in your decision.
It's also a mutual evaluation: you decide whether the program aligns with what you're looking for, and we assess whether your profile is ready for this next step.
